HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

At this time of the year citizens of the United States celebrate the holiday of Thanksgiving. This day is seen as the biggest holiday in the U.S. because it focuses on gathering at home with family or friends for a holiday feast rather than the celebration of a religious event even though the American holiday has religious undertones related to the deliverance of the English settlers by Native Americans after the brutal winter at Plymouth, Massachusetts.

The holiday's origins can be traced to harvest festivals which have been celebrated in many cultures since ancient times, and is also celebrated in Canada (but earlier during the month of October).

Whatever the origin this is seen as a day to be thankful for the blessings we all have. I am thankful for all the love and support I've received from family and friends over the past few months who still love me despite the fact I have no job, no money, no man, no prospects of a bright future and face the hazards of a bleak and brutal winter ahead.

I am also thankful that the single-blade razors are safely stored out of sight at the bottom of my toolbox.

Seriously, I am thankful for all the personal gains I've made over the past few months including re-discovering my girlish figure after losing 25 EFFING POUNDS THROUGH DIET AND EXERCISE!!!

Wo-hoo!!!

Some guy even cruised me in the supermarket last night!!! That hasn't happened to me in eons!!!! (Shaddap Danny, Michelle, David...in fact, y'all.....)

So, what are you thankful for on this day?
