Although I am against gay marriage - yes, you read right - I am in full support of the fight for recognition of same-sex unions.

Why am I against gay marriage?

Because marriage is something concocted by religious organizations that they deem sacred. So sacred that it's been known for one person to do it over and over again when they get bored with different spouses. So sacred that they'll do it on a drunken whim in Vegas.

As long as same-sex couples are afforded the same legal rights as heterosexual couples - the straights can keep their "sacred" institution.

So, some members of the media are expressing surprise at selections and dialogue that Obama has put out in the past few days (Campbell Brown shut the fuck up - lately you're sounding like an uptight bitch).

Here's a clue: read his book - 'The Audacity of Hope' where he (surprise!) outlined his thoughts and plans for America AS HE IS NOW DOING.....

Shall I pontificate to dumb Rethuglicans on the importance of self-reliance with regards to energy and use the current natural gas stranglehold that Russia have on the rest of Europe as an example?
