This is just a quick nod of recognition to a hard-working lady - Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
I think that she is a positive role model to woman all over the world, proving what hard work and determination can achieve, and how NOT to rest on the laurels of you husband's success.
A graduate of Yale Law School, Hillary Diane Rodham Clinton has been an activist since her move to Arkansas in the mid 1970s. She co-founded the Arkansas Advocate for Children and Families, was appointed the first female chair of the Legal Services Corporation by then President Carter, led a task force to reform Arkansas eduction system while serving as first lady of Arkansas, worked on reforming the health care system as America's First Lady in the 90s, won the senate seat for New York in 2000, led a good fight for the 2008 DNC presidential nomination, and is now serving her country as our Secretary of State.
Already she made a positve for our country in her current role.
Ya' know...she could have taken the easy road and retired after her husband's successful term(s) in office where she was a very popular First Lady but she decided to make and name for herself....on her own accord.
And to me and many, MANY others - she has.
I have ONE thing to say to you Madam Secretary: YOU GO GIRL!!!!!!!
This is a site dedicated to the thoughts, comments, views and opinions of a transplanted Jamaican who - through the love, support and toleration of his family - makes his opinions known. Filters on written content may - or may not - be applied, depending on the side of the bed one gets up from, the impact of dreams the nights before, and so forth. CAUTION: A bizarre mix of Jamaican, British, American and LGBT humor is found throughout this blog.
